Queenstown to Fox Glacier

We drove from Queenstown to Fox Glacier, getting up at 5am to be in Fox Glacier for a 1:30 hike. The scenery along the way was amazing! It rained most of the way which made the waterfalls spectacular.

Typical West Coast one-lane bridge
Gates of Haast, where the river channels close in the valley and the Haast river roars, especially on this day

Waterfalls roaring down the mountains
Look at all the waterfalls
Scenic stop along the West coast
Bruce Bay, the ocean was very rough today

Starfish on the beach
All the debris from a storm
